Crowthers entered a team in the Pershore Rotary Club Charity Golf Day for The Vale of Evesham School and contributed to raising £706 which will enable the pupils to have a well-deserved day out.

The golf played was of a varying standard and Joe did very well not to injure himself or anybody else, in his first ever golf tournament.  Steady Eddy Steve was the rock the teams score was built on.  Gavin provided flashes of brilliance contrasting with strange moments of ineptitude.  Stuart was able to keep everyone’s spirits up with stories of his philanthropic deeds and the reason why he just failed in obtaining monastic orders, plus the odd good golf hole.  The team gelled well and were able to obtain a surprising 3rd place.

The team would like to thank Pershore Rotary Club for an excellent day for a great cause and for Sam for managing the team.
