In these times of uncertainty, we feel it is important to share some positive stories, alongside the more practical ones, which is why we’ve decided to shine the spotlight on our clients Philip and Lisa Rushforth, owners of Something Different (UK) Limited, a company who specialise in the supply of branded promotional items.

Over 25 years ago Lisa started the company and was soon joined by her Husband Philip when he decided to leave his global role selling promotional items and travelling worldwide.

The couple believe that promotional items (many of which you might find about your desk, including Pens, Mouse Mats and Lanyards) are more than just a clever marketing ploy, they are a vessel by which to communicate, or to spread an important message.

Something Different have a longstanding relationship with the NHS, working closely with Worcestershire and Wolverhampton Trusts to name just a couple.

But what we found important to highlight during an unprecedented time for all businesses, is that Philip and Lisa have adapted to the best of their abilities and are continuing to provide the services of Something Different. In fact, they are flourishing.

In the last week alone, the team at Something Different have fulfilled an order of over 700 Polo Shirts which have been supplied and printed for Volunteers who will shortly begin working at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton in the fight against the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Fulfilling an order such as this, in such a short time, has meant that Philip and Lisa have had to adapt based on the availability of supplies and their workforce, but their positive attitudes have enabled them to do just that. Alongside Polo Shirts, Something Different are also supplying ID Badges and Lanyards for the Wolverhampton NHS Trust as their need for personnel identification increases.

We think Something Different are doing an outstanding job at a very difficult time and would like to congratulate them on their success.

Crowthers would also like to take this opportunity to thank our NHS staff for all that they do, and all of the Key Workers who are going above and beyond to help us all in these unprecedented times.
