ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST – CHELTENHAM TEAM

The role

The role will require the individual to perform administrative duties and clerical duties to assist the Company to run smoothly. 

The role will include:

  • Answering telephones.
  • Reception duties including dealing with clients, managing diaries and appointments, arranging conference calls and meetings and making drinks.
  • Managing stationery supplies for the office.
  • Typing duties including composing correspondence.
  • Publishing documents to our clients via our secure internet portal.
  • Supporting the needs of our professional team as well as our administration team.
  • Carrying out project work to take the business forward.
  • Assisting with internal and external marketing events and creating a great first impression to potential clients.

The individual

We are looking for the right person to fit in with our team in Cheltenham.  Experience of working in a similar role within a professional firm is preferable but not essential.

The individual should have the following qualities:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent typing skills and IT skills (particularly Word and Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.

Location

The role will be based in our office in Cheltenham, although there may be occasional work in our other offices.

Remuneration

We are looking to offer a competitive salary package based on the level of experience of the individual.

TRAINEE ACCOUNTANTS / BOOKKEEPERS

We are seeking university graduates, or ambitious school leavers with excellent A-level results or equivalent qualifications.

The role

The role will involve the preparation of management accounts, including processing invoices, reconciling bank accounts, maintaining clients accounting records, VAT returns and tax returns.  

We are offering the opportunity to train for professional accountancy qualifications which will be offered as part of the salary and training package.

Training on cloud based accountancy software packages such as Xero and Kashflow will be provided as well as our professional accounting software.

We are a forward thinking firm and will provide a diverse range of experience for an enthusiastic and committed person.

The individual

The individual should have the following qualities:

  • Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.

Location

We have offices in Cheltenham, Ledbury, Pershore and Twyning.

This position may require some travelling to clients.
